Getting answers about your sleep usually means waiting... For an appointment. For a lab bed or test. For results. For a followup. For someone to call you back. And usually, the solution is the same CPAP machine for everyone.
Many patients wait up to 6-months between scheduling their first appointment and beginning treatment.
None of the steps are complicated; it's just wasted time, waiting for availability.
With Polaris, the test comes to you, and you take it in your own bed. A sleep specialist reviews your results personally within a few days. The treatment you're offered depends on what your diagnosis actually shows — sometimes CPAP, sometimes a pillow or an oral appliance, sometimes something else. You're not handed the same box as everyone else.
No lab bed. No limbo. No one-size-fits-all. An experience tailored to you and a pathway to true, restorative sleep.
Polaris Sleep is a virtual sleep medicine practice serving patients in Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia. We diagnose and treat obstructive sleep apnea entirely from home: a disposable sleep test ships to your door, a board-certified sleep specialist reviews the results personally, and treatment is matched to what your diagnosis actually shows.
We don't sell equipment. Devices and appliances are fulfilled through independent vendors, so the treatment you're offered is the one your results support — not the one that's most profitable to supply.
Our clinicians are deep experts in sleep medicine—not dabblers or generalists. With decades of experience helping patients of all ages achieve better sleep, we're here to help you live unobstructed.
