Polaris is a completely virtual, home-based approach to testing and treating OSA. Everything is shipped to the patient’s home so they can stay in the comfort of their own bed, on their own schedule. Treatment appointments are available at whatever time works best for them.
Polaris takes an evidence-based approach to match the right treatment to each patient, instead of defaulting to CPAP. We evaluate for positional apnea that may be better treated by pillows or mild apnea that is a good candidate for oral devices. This avoids overprescription and CPAP waste, ensuring treatments actually drive outcomes.
We will ship our sleep apnea test right to the patient's home, and they may simply discard it after use. Upon receipt of their sleep test data, our medical director will review each case personally.
Our clinical team will meet with the patient to discuss their results and treatment options. Depending on their condition, we can refer out to one of our trusted partners for additional or higher-acuity care.
Regardless of treatment modality, we support patients with proactive communication and remote patient monitoring—and we'll keep you informed throughout the course of care.
